What You Will Do

As a Cloud Operations Engineer in Vimla's technical operations team, you will play a central role in shaping and securing our future operational environment with a particular focus on our cloud platform in AWS. You will be a driving force in our modernization initiatives and lead change projects from idea stage to implementation and follow-up. In close collaboration with colleagues across the organization – development teams, architects, suppliers, and partners – you will work to create a stable, efficient, and scalable infrastructure.

Vimla is in the midst of an exciting modernization journey where AWS is a key component, and your contribution will be crucial for our success. The role also includes responsibility for maintaining and further developing our internal services, supporting colleagues in technical matters, and participating in readiness for internal systems and integrations. Here, you will have a great opportunity to influence, contribute ideas, and challenge established ways of working.

In your work, you will among other things:

• Drive and manage projects, both internally and together with partners or suppliers

• Collaborate with colleagues throughout Vimla to understand needs and prioritize initiatives

• Work closely with our architects to ensure good system development and robust solutions

• Identify, analyze, and solve problems in our technical environment

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a degree in computer science or equivalent experience, and who has good knowledge and practical experience of working in AWS environments. You are comfortable with Linux, experienced in working with SQL (Oracle or Postgres), and have experience with monitoring tools like Splunk.

If you have also worked with telco stacks, Shell scripting, or Python, that is a plus. We appreciate if you have an analytical approach and have previously driven improvement work based on data-driven decisions – and are willing to challenge us on how we can develop our ways of working.

As a person, you are a curious and solution-oriented team player who thrives in a smaller team where collaboration and personal responsibility go hand in hand. You communicate fluently in Swedish and enjoy contributing new ideas and perspectives. Above all, we are looking for someone who is engaged, ambitious, and wants to help develop our technical solutions forward.
